I wish I could make it, depending on the success of this you should try it on a week day (as more people might be home)

    We’ll see how it goes…

The timing on this one was the result of me just finding out about the Coveritlive.com software…me being free this evening…and the Yankees game starting at 10 pm ET.

I’m not sure how it will work out…I’m not a fast typer…

This could be a one and done thing…or, it could be something that becomes a regular feature…

I’m catching a Durham Bulls game at 7:05, so I don’t think I’ll be back in time for your chat. Hope it goes well, though!

Thanks. Saw the Bulls back in June 1999. It was a blast. You’ll have fun!

I expect to have the chat for an hour - in case you’re back and want to try.

BTW, dude, if you’re going to give HT’s - give them to the right blog! ;-)

    wonderful idea Steve…

will try and make it.. i moved to the OC last year, used to live in NJ before…

got tickets to tomorrow’s game, was so amped up for a Joba start… cant tell you what a downer “Dan Giese start” sounds like..

  7. Steve Lombardi on August 8th, 2008 2:33 pm

Hey, you never know…Dan Giese could throw a no-hitter. In baseball, anything is possible…that’s why we watch it.

Yeah I realized just now I was reading your thread on my Google Reader, not RAB. Sorry about that!

I’ve been to five or six Bulls games this year, they are always a treat. It’s because I’ve followed the Durham Bulls that I will have trouble rooting against Tampa Bay if they turn into a powerhouse- I saw those players when they had to deal with mascots racing young children between innings!

LOL. It’s hard enough to get some blogs to provide a HT when they clearly take something from here - now I have to be on the lookout for readers too! J/K

Back in 6/99, when I was in Durham, that was my first minor league game - ever. If I close my eyes, I can picture it like it was yesterday…

…it was a beatiful setting. I look forward to maybe getting back there…someday…
