No. He has had a bad year but 5 years from now I think we’ll laugh at his 2008 season.

FWIW, i thought it was a bad idea when it happened. It would be inappropriate for me to say he is spoiled by the money, but the problem i had with him is that he cannot get onbase if his LDs are not finding gaps… he becomes an automatic out.. he doesnt even work the pitcher.. i hope i am wrong and the Yanks are better off keeping him through his prime.. but maybe they pulled it a little earlier than needed…
