Melky & Sexson Out, Gardner & Ransom In Bleich Signs

Close, but, no cigar.

I have always been a firm believer in the principle that tough times don’t last, but, tough people do.

It’s really too bad that this Yankees team is so short on tough people.

I have a nasty suspicion that this team will finally find its stride in a week or two. They will run off a great streak. But it will be too little too late for the Bombers. And we will be thinking: What if they could have done this a bit earlier?
