They’re Not So Grrrreat! [Lately]

We know, all too well, that the Yankees have lost four of their last six games.

However, lately, the Detroit Tigers have not been so hot either. The Bengals have lost 5 of their last 7 games – allowing an average of 6.9 runs per game (while scoring just about 4.3 per contest).

Then again, the Yankees are scheduled to start Sidney “Hit Me” Ponson today and the Tigers are going with Justin Verlander – who, in his last three starts, has an ERA of 2.41 since August 16th.

Man, it seems like every time the Yankees turn around this season, they’re walking into a Voodoo Shop and then have someone on their rear as they’re trying to catch up to something.
