According to the New York Post, will return to Yankee Stadium this season for the pregame festivities on September 21st.

By the way, did you know that Cooper Stadium had a “last game” this season too? I wonder if any Yankees made their way to that one?

How nice of Williams to grace us with his presence.

      Cut Bernie some slack.

At least there will be one clutch perfomer in the house on the night the Stadium closes.

For someone who came across as a very modest guy when he was in his prime, it turned out that Bernie actually has a helluva an ego.

For me, it sounds like Bernie thinks the Yankees forced him into retirement.

I’m not sure if that’s an ego thing…or just a lack of intelligence.

Well that’s gotta be more ego and belief in yourself than an intelligent appraisal of your own skills and where the organization stands, right?

I tried to make it to the Coop, unfortunately I was not able to.
