The Curse Of Ted Lilly Mo Keeps Goin’, And, Goin’…
Sep 16

Slippery Pete, the Mango Tree Sitter, is mad at Jorge. Read all about it. As a 36-year old, with an ERA of 5.47 this year and just 8 wins over the last two seasons, Martinez should have other things to worry about…besides what Posada has to say on a Yankees-TV show. For example: Like…the Mets and how he can help them avoid a choke for the second season in a row.

I’m peeved at Posada, who is he the GM? He is the de facto captain, Jeter is just a shell of a captain. Joba is the type of pitcher that becomes a frontline starter. Look at what he did against Beckett at the Green Monstrosity called Fenway. Putting Joba in the pen is sheer idiocy, it’s no surprise that people like Mad Dog and Joba love that idea. The Yanks are starving for a 1a ACE and Posada has to chime in. Jorge shut up and rehab. Hopefully, a smart person in the Yankee high command will make this kid a frontline starter.

I couldn’t agree more with Butchie on this one. Posada is understandably bored with the rehab and healing process and spent yesterday running his mouth like an idiot.

I doubt that they’ll base their decision on what Posada says. They have Chamberlain’s body of work (ML & MiL) at their disposal.

Well, Posada called him out, of course Pedro’s going to respond.

Anyway, Zim should’ve stayed on the bench.
