Danny Tartabull, Jim Leyritz &amp; Wade Boggs don&#039;t count?

Anyway, the reason the Yanks got better?  They had improvements from Mattingly, Stanley &amp; Kelly, and they upgraded in RF, LF, CF &amp; 3b.  Good for an OPS+ bump from 105 to 114.

The pitching pretty much performed the same (ERA+ of 94 &amp; 95)</description>
