I still cannot look at Alfedo Aceves without thinking of Jimmy Leyritz. Brothers from different mothers, maybe?

hmmmmmmmmmm… let’s see. Over the last 10 games…
We have had solid defense, anbd Cano and Brett have made some excellent plays.
Jeter is FINALLY leading the team with his bat.
Cano is hitting well.
Bobby and JD have been solid.
Our SP has been very good.
So…. even though ARod is slimping and adding NOTHING….
We have played .700 ball.
What does that tell us?

According to Pete Abe, Girardi informally invited Pettite back for next year. I’m glad, as we all have learned from Moose, a guy can come back from a bad/injured year even if he isn’t young anymore.
