Don’t ask me why…because I dunno…but, as I was sitting in Yankee Stadium last night, I started to think about Oscar Azocar.
Did you know that, during the 34 day period between July 22, 1990 and August 24, 1990, Stump Merrill batted Oscar Azocar 3rd in the Yankees line-up 34 times (this includes two double-headers that were played then).
Yeah, Oscar Azocar batting third for the New York Yankees for over one month.
