PHOTO ESSAY: Yankee Stadium 9/21/08
What follows are some photos from my day in the Bronx yesterday – to see the last baseball game ever played in this Yankee Stadium.
Well, actually, it’s the pictures that I took which were the least blurry. Shooting at night, from a distance, with a small camera may not have been my brightest idea. Still, it captures, at least for me, some of the moments of the day. And, it gives you an idea of what it’s like to watch a game in the Letterbox World of the Loge of Yankee Stadium – in the seats that I’ve been sitting in for the last 8 years. (These are just the photos – more to come later today in terms of “the story” of my trip to this game.)
Photos may be viewed in a larger format by clicking on them. And, I recommed doing that if you want to see the images better.

That’s it. I hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as I did taking them!

Nice pics steve!
I agree with Raf.
Thanks guys.
Amazing how media and riot police command as much attention as the Yankees in that final photo.
You provide a great service for Yankees fans, and I’m glad you got to experience such a special night. It exceeded my expectations.
Thanks Paul. That’s all very nice of you to say. And, it’s appreciated. Happy to hear you enjoyed the day as well.
