    Julia Ruth-Stevens, the Big Bam’s daughter…who, by the way, did a nice job throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for the last game at this Yankee Stadium, laments about the closing of “The House That Ruth Built.” The video via SNY.tv:


    I have to say…it’s going to be strange for me…having heard the Stadium be called “The House That Ruth Built” for my whole life…and not it has to stop. You cannot call the new Stadium “The House That Ruth Built” because it’s not the same structure.

      It really wasn’t the same after they reovated the Stadium anyway. The real ‘House That Ruth Built’ is long away and far ago. Mists of time and all that.
