Man Who Caught Molina Ball Is Identified O’Connor: A-Rod Not Long For Yanks
Sep 24

So, with another terrible loss today, the New York Metropolitans are now one game back of the Phillies in the N.L. East and tied with the Milwaukee Brewers for the N.L. Wildcard lead…with just four games left on the Mets schedule.

The Mets next four games are all at home…over the next four days…where the forecast is for rain on Thurday, Friday and Saturday. And, the last game/day, Sunday, is supposed to be the last regular season game ever at Shea Stadium.

Think Willie Randolph is feeling a lot better now than he did back on June 17th?

I watched the 8th, 9th, and 10th, and was loving every minute of it. Eff the Mets, eff Jerry Manuel, and eff Omar Minaya.

What I want to know is this: if the Mets end up missing the playoffs in the same miserable, heartbreaking way for a second straight year, why does Omar get to keep his job?

Because he traded for Johan when his owner told him to?

    j/k ;-)

Omar’s a lucky guy. The Twins don’t have the stones to take the better offers from NYY and BOS, Carlos Delgado gets healthy just in time to give the Mets hope for the post-season, his team might still collapse and yet he gets a four-year extension. Willie must be wondering how the hell it was all his fault.

I am glad this is happening now again with a different manager. It’s not surprising the bullpen in imploding once again…the surprising part is that they managed to be in first for so long with that bullpen but I guess once Wagner was lost then it was only a matter of time before it got even worse.

I think Willie knows better than to think that. I’m pretty sure he knows it wasn’t his fault.

Think we can get Willie to manage 3rd instead of Meacham?
