Yet another dig at Cashman.

A good GM would’ve let Sheffield sign with his team of choice and gotten nothing in return. A bad GM like Cashman turned a negative into a positive by getting back three players, including a former top prospect of the then-AL Champ Detroit Tigers, in exchange for an aging, injured malcontent.

Yep, you convinced me that it was a horrible trade. That awful, awful GM Cashman got swindled. Pity the Yanks didn’t just hold onto Sheffield the last two years…

At least Sheffield could hit the Indians…

I was at the Stadium when Sanchez made his debut last week. The Stadium gun had him in low- to mid-90s. Also, Fangraphs has his average FB velocity at 92.6.

As Raf says, it’s too early in his post-TJS to start paying attention to the radar gun readings.

And, he had a full rehab too. So, TJS is no excuse for throwing 88.

16 innings is not full rehab. Let’s see where he is next season before we make an issue of this.
