Moose, followed closely by Mo. No one else is even close.
I vote Molina, because if he didn’t keep the pitching staff together all year, this season could have been a helluva lot worse. You might poke fun with him about his stick, but the guy knows what he’s doing behind the plate and can get the most out of a pitching staff…(see Moose)
I voted Mussina since 26% of the games the Yankees won this year were games that he started.
Mussina by a mile.
He ticked every box.
1) Elite performance
2) Consistent performance
3) Team would have died if he didnt perform like he did.
Damon was great in the 1st half, so he deserves a mention.
Rivera was great but his tied game problems hurt him.
A-Rod. Because one should only vote based upon Win Shares…
