He actually loved it. I think Fatcessa was saying this, but then took it back. One reporter actually said he knew for a fact how much Church loved NY and the Mets, because they talked about it a lot. Not with a tape-recorder and pad out, but a normal conversation. Don't remember who it was... I'm a Met fan. No way we need Abreu. We need a LFer, and a right-handed one at that. I also doubt Minaya would give him 3 years, he seems to be over giving aging injury-prone players long contracts.
