…yet, Luigi Baez put up some crazy batting numbers this season.
For what it’s worth, I did a quick scan of some guys who did really well in the DSL in 2007 – and many of them could not hit their weight the next season in the New York-Penn League. So, the jump to the next level, as I mentioned, is huge. Still, how could you not root for a guy with a name like “Luigi Baez”?
