Jay Payton Essential Games of Yankee Stadium DVD

Remember “Uncle Willy” – the guy with the beard and the crown who used to carry signs at Yankee Stadium in the late ’70s? He was sort of the Freddy Schuman of his time…

I just thought about Uncle Willy for the first time in what is probably, at least, twenty years. During his time, you’d always catch a shot of him in the crowd, via WPIX; or, maybe you’d see him in person if you were at a game. But, who was he? What was his story? Where did he go?

Lost civilizations, extraterrestrials, myths and monsters, missing persons, magic and witchcraft, unexplained phenomena…and “Uncle Willy.” These are the great mysteries for the likes of scientists, researchers and highly-skilled technicians…
