Robinson Cano 2009 Phil Hughes: Real Men Get Manicures
Nov 05

Feel free to use this post as a place for you to comment on anything Yankees-related (or within reach of tagging the bag of being Yankees-related on a decent slide) today. It could be a casual conversation offering, or, something you saw in the news, or something very detailed that you want to share that’s within the territory of Yankeeland.

Or, comment on something that someone else has posted here in the comments…

Have fun. Play nice. And, remember, keep it Yankees-focused.

    Just a quick PSA.

I had to delete one comment this AM (in another entry) that had a political slant to it.

Please, let’s keep that type of stuff out of these forums. This is a blog on the Yankees, baseball, with, at times…a sprinkle of harmless pop culture…here and there.

Please ignore any comments posted that are political in nature. And, rest assured, I will delete them as soon as I can.

Thanks, and, now, back to out show…

Listening to 1010-WINS this morning, it doesn’t appear that Jake Peavy will be coming to the Yanks. IIRC, I heard there were 3 NL teams in play for him.

I never believed that the Yankees had a chance – even after his agent added the Yankees and Angels to the list.

FWIW, I did hear on X-M this AM that Peavy’s agent said that Peavy and his family will continue to live in SD after the trade – as that’s where they have settled, where their kids go to school, etc.

Makes it sound as if that gives the Angels a leg up on keeping him – because that’s close to LA.

I didn’t think so either, but you never know with these things.
