Bones & Lefebvre’s Three Year Run

Did you know that Joe Lefebvre and Steve Balboni were teammates on the 1976 and 1977 Eckerd College Tritons baseball team (in Saint Petersburg, Florida) and they were also teammates on the 1978 [Double-A] West Haven Yankees (albeit briefly)?

But, they never played together for the New York Yankees – or together anywhere else after 1978.

Thirty years later, I wonder if they’ve kept in touch?
