You Just Know This Isn’t Going To End Good
Today, we took the kids to go see Playhouse Disney Live! at the IZOD Center.
Four tickets = $100.00
Parking = $10.00
Two T-Shirts, a stuffed toy, and one of those spinny light things = $86.00
Food = Free (as we snuck in our own)
Hey, it’s actually cheaper than going to Yankee Stadium!
The show? It was O.K.
The kids seemed to like it. (Although they noted that some characters were missing.)
It only ran an hour and twenty minutes – including a 10 minute intermission – and that seemed a tad short.
But, here’s the kicker. The family sitting behind us arrived late – about 10 minutes after the show started. As they were getting into their seats, one of them coughed.
The cough was strong enough to make the hair on the back of my head move – and that’s no easy feat considering that there’s no hair on my head that’s longer than a quarter-inch in length.
Yet, that’s not the worst part. When I heard the cough and then felt my hair move, both happening so close that it was faster than bang-bang, I reached back to touch my head where the cough made my hair move…and then realized that my head was wet – with whatever it was that they coughed out at me.
Was it the mother (sitting directly behind me) of the children who coughed? Was it one of the children? Hey, does it really matter? Gross is gross. And, this was gross.
So, how many days, from now, will it take for me to get sick? I’m thinking three to seven days, tops.
Just great.
ha! yeah dude… thats disgusting.
if i were you, id pop a couple of zinc cough drops, a vitamin C tab a day, and cross my fingers.
Yeah, I’m thinking that a Vitamin C binge right about now would be a good idea too.
