    Something tells me that we’ll be hearing about this “100+ career wins over .500” thing a lot…with good reason as it’s an excellent point when it comes to Mussina’s Cooperstown chances.

      Looking @ BB-Ref, he’s a HoF’er

      HOF Standards: Pitching – 54.0 (28) (Average HOFer ≈ 50)
      HOF Monitor: Pitching – 121.0 (67) (Likely HOFer > 100)

      His similarity scores place him in company with Juan Marichal, Jim Palmer, Carl Hubbel, Jim Bunning & Clark Griffith.

      2001, 2003 & 2004 really hurt from a postseason standpoint, and from a career POV, 2004-5 & 2007 hurt.
