Anyone else tired already of hearing about where A-Rod is spending Thanksgiving and what his ex-wife is saying about him on it?

First I’m hearing of it. Try taking “Alex Rodriguez” out of your Google alerts.

I know a lot of divorced couples, and they never spend Thanksgiving together. The kids are with Mom OR the kids are with Dad. Same with Christmas. At least with an 8 day Channukah, you can split it up. So, what, Cyn wants Alex to join her for Thanksgiving? Sounds like a very bitter woman, especially since she will soon be worth $100m or so.

So much so that I refuse to even read your links on the topic. Seriously, if it bugs you so much, why do you even report it? You’re feeding the hysteria.

It’s a very tough line for me.
On one hand, it’s annoying that every other “Yankees” story out there is an A-Rod/Madonna story.
So, because there’s SO MUCH of it out there, I want to ignore it.
But, on the other hand, this stuff exists because of the decisions that A-Rod has made – along with Hank’s decision to bring A-Rod back to the Yankees.
So, there’s a part of me that says it’s worth pointing it out, because it IS annoying that every other “Yankees” story is an A-Rod/Madonna thing…
…and we have Hank and A-Rod to thank/blame for this…and that it’s worthy to keep mentioning it and reminding people what having A-Rod on this team means…in addition to his batting skills, etc.
Make sense?
