Feel free to use this post as a place for you to comment on anything Yankees-related (or within reach of tagging the bag of being Yankees-related on a decent slide) today. It could be a casual conversation offering, or, something you saw in the news, or something very detailed that you want to share that’s within the territory of Yankeeland.
Or, comment on something that someone else has posted here in the comments…
Have fun. Play nice. And, remember, keep it Yankees-focused.

If the Yanks miss out on Sabathia and Teixeira, how likely is it that Manny ends up in pinstripes?

Assuming the Yanks have an interest, it leads to an interesting question: What’s more important to Manny, the money or the hair?
No way the Yankees allow that doo to survive in the Bronx.

This is true….I say he’d cut it for spring tranining and then just lets it keep growing the whole season haha

While I agree with the general sentiment, they did allow goatees briefly a while back…
But yeah, I don’t see dreads in pinstripes. I do find it odd that Manny grew them as they really aren’t a “Dominican thing.”

If the Rangers make Marlon Byrd available should the Yankees try and make a deal for him? Probably wouldn’t take much to acquire him. He can play CF (not sure how well) and has had two pretty decent seasons at the plate the last 2 years:
2007: .307/.355/.459/113
2008: .298/.380/.462/123

it would take a few young pitchers…the rangers are starved for those…maybe IPK, Wright, Aceves? (right, left, experience(albeit in the mexican league))?

I don’t think it would take IPK or Aceves, probably less than that. Wright maybe.
