Yeah, the remake in 2003 was O.K. But, it comes no where near comparing to the original version of this one. Peter Falk and Alan Arkin stole the show in this comedy. A great pairing, if you ask me.

That’s one of my favorite movies, Falk was great, and Arkin does the exasperated bit he does so well.
Alan Arkin happens to be one of my favorites. Believe it or not, I consider “Slums of Beverly Hills” one of his signature roles. I don’t think I’ve seen a movie as funny or as touching. It’s one of my all-time favorites and Arkin’s a big reason why (together with the performance of David Krumholtz).
