		<description>If you ignore the ridiculous-ness of this trade for a second, and assume this is a one-to-one salary swap, there is at least an extremely hypothetical scenario where the Yankees are better off.

Trading A-Rod clears enough money to sign Texiera, Upton is now the starting CF and you could sign Wiggington to play 3B.  You could make the argument that the Yankees are a better team that way?
