The sad part of this, for me, is that R.S.N. is going to take over Cooperstown on Rickey’s big day. Should make it an ugly day for any Yankees fans who make the trip there to see Henderson…I would imagine.

So you think its going to be ugly because the Red Sox fans would be there? Wow!Why would that ruin Rickey’s day? You are talking about Rickey like he played for the Yankees his whole life. You are right for one thing though. The Red Sox fans are passionate about their players. I went to the Oakland Athletics board to offer my congratulations and there was only one thread devoted to him and 3 people posted on it.

While I can’t speak for Steve, I think he’s talking about RSN starting up a “Yankees Suck” chant for anyone who heads up there wearing a Yankees cap.
