How would you feel if you agreed to leave SS, a position where you may have been the best ever at, to play 3b just to get to the Yanks and be a winning player…then deal with a cold shoulder from Jeter, a lack of interest from your manager and all of theother shit after that? The “Lonely Yankee” article was extremely embarrassing, batting him 8th was a shot…i mean come on, I love Torre but you have to agree that A-Rod isn’t at fault for these developments.
