Look, it tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.
In Philadelphia, it’s worth 50 bucks.
This flick is one of the all-time greats for me, in the comedy department…

Who cares about your mediocre taste in movies?

I generally don’t, unless its a movie I enjoy… like this one. That’s why I just ignore most of the ones I don’t like. I don’t see why you should care what Steve puts on his blog; how is it hurting your life?
I like this movie too, Steve. A classic.

AND he always puts a clip in that people can watch and enjoy, he doesn’t simply say “I like that one movie.”

Mediocre is generous, IMO. When he listed Blade Trinity as one of his favorite movies, I laughed out loud. Then again, I’m sort of a movie snob. But whatever. I think this blog should be about Yankees, and Yankees only. I mean, it’s kind of hypocritical to chastise people for talking politics on this blog and then turn around and start talking about movies. Both constitute irrelevant, and potentially divisive, subject matter.

I have yet to see a discussion about movies get as nasty as some of the discussions I’ve seen about politics.

FWIW, I started this “Fav Flicks” series this off-season to fill in some of the dead-time that’s part of this time of the year. I thought it would also be a way to get to know me better, through the movies that I like, etc. And, FWIW, I’m not the only blogger, or Yankees blogger, that mixes in some pop culture or personal stuff with his Yankees reports…
But, fine, if you guys find it so annoying, screw it – I’ll stop the series. Less work for me. I really don’t care.

This is true. Bronx Banter is a perfect example of this. I just happen to enjoy it.
Anyway, if people don’t like an entry, I don’t see why they just don’t ignore it…

And, what, miss a chance to bitch about something that I posted here?

Even Pete Abe mixes in movie tidbits now and then.

Man, I sure have, but that’s probably because I hang out with film school kids. Come to think of it, the political views at my university are pretty much homogeneous, so I witness more arguments over movies than politics.
