Has anyone heard anything yet from Suzyn Waldman or Michael Kay on the A-Rod news? I would love to see someone track them down, now, for a comment.

Is Kay doing his ESPN Radio Show on Monday? Should be good, there’s no way that he can ignore this one, right?

I briefly heard Kay on in a spot on Jody McDonald’s show that was on 1050 yesterday afternoon as I left my dentist’s office and drove over to get a haircut.

Here’s a link to the interview:

OK, I screwed up the link: let’s try this one…

Interesting take by Kay. I’m thinking A-Rod could become the lonliest major leaguer since Ty Cobb quit the game.

Saw Kay on ESPN Sport Reporters this morning..he was pretty critical and not very supportive. Im just ready for baseball to start!

Kay says A-Rod is an emotionally fragile guy.

And, that’s one of the biggest factors at play here. This whole thing could send him into a mental downfall…

Just a thought…but if I were one of those other 103 guys on that list I’d be sweating bullets about now.

      As for Mr. Rodriguez—he’s finished.

Roberts only wanted A-Rod, after all, she’s doing a book on him.

When I saw her on the MLB Network, she was asked if they checked on the other 103 names, to get sources as back-up, etc., and she said something like that’s a lot of work for some other reporters to do.

Best way to cure this is for A-rod to get tested every 2 weeks, show hes clean and duplicate 2007!

But, there’s so much stuff out there now that doesn’t show in tests…

It’s only a matter of time, Steve. Now that the court order’s been violated—4 times by my count—and SI, ESPN, MLBNet etc. are comfortable with it, NOT revealing more names will look like they’re trying to protect steroid users.

Regardless, given the general ignorance of the public, they’re probably stupid enough to buy it.

The best that A-Rod can hope for is that this will be only the beginning of the Great Unraveling. The other 103 will be exposed and there will be other stars on the list as well.
