i was in attendance for the famous 15th inning leyritz home run. it was madness at the stadium.
--------------
So was I. I was there singing "NY, NY" with the rest of the crowd, and never have I heard a crowd so loud as when Mattingly went deep.

that was a tough series. i still refuse to watch griffey score that final run. it pains me that was mattingly's last game. i was in attendance for the famous 15th inning leyritz home run. it was madness at the stadium.

That was a tough series... I figured they'd punt the game against Johnson, and win the series in 4. Then Kaimie blew a 5 run lead, and I figured with Cone going, they'd be set...

Little did I know that Edgar would bat damn near .600.

What's lost in Wetteland's game 4 is that he did decently in game 2. Only gave up a HR to Griffey, who was also hot that series.
