Not Going Without A Fight

The last two episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Last Voyage of the Jimmy Carter (which aired on March 20th) and To the Lighthouse (which aired this evening) were off-the-charts good. It would be a shame to see this series not see another season…

They were pretty good. I greatly enjoyed watching Sarah Conner use the shock paddles on the assassins head. And the show has a terrific supporting cast. But, I’m sorry to say, it’s almost certainly toast. Enjoy it while you can.
Dollhouse, meanwhile, which airs after it and got off to a agonizingly slow start, has gotten really good over the last two episodes and still has a chance at survival. And next week’s episode looks to be amazing. I recommend giving it a shot.
Dunno, Dollhouse looks way too T&A for me, at least from the commericals.
The commercials are deceiving. The entire premise behind FOX’s Friday night scheduling bloc seems to be that geeks like to watch hot chicks in sci-fi shows and can’t get dates. We’ll totally capture that audience!
In actuality, while Dollhouse absolutely includes sexual content, it’s not at all *about* the T&A. What it is about, more than anything, is exploitation and identity.
It’s a very smart and challenging show, and was even when it was struggling to find its footing over its first 5 episodes. Now that it’s actually entertaining too, it’s worth watching.
Runs against Flashpoint, which is an issue for me. We like that one too.
Just caught up on this. Has gotten very good. Would suck for it to get cancelled. Im sick of stations not giving some shows a chance. Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies to name a few. Cant wait for Terminator 4!
