Butchie, I don't agree with you often, but this time, you're right on the money, 100%.
=========================================

Let's see...will Yankees fans love Swisher if his average drops from .522 to .222?

Boy, that's a toughie, a real poser, a conundrum, a riddle, a corker, a mystery, yessireebob, that's a real puzzle, a brainbuster, a headscratcher...

Like I keep on saying it's still too early to see what Swisher will really be:the Oakland very good Swish or the shitty Palehose version of Swish. Ultimately, I think he'll be in between.... Michael Kay was already ripping him for throwing the ball into the dugout. Gym Teacher Joe was gritting his teeth, Georgie Juiced One says no one was laughing , and that's not the way the team does business. Know what F*&K Yankees INC then!Everyone knows, I'm not the biggest Swisher fan but the guy took one for the team and people are complaining?!! Next time Georgie should try to throw more people out and then talk! That's not the way business is done in the Bronx, really? Bring the Bronx Zoo back then because at the very least Swisher is injecting the team with some much needed looseness. The team needs to start taking the bug up their butt and loosen up big time.

Is that true? It’s not intentional. I have no plan when it comes to these - that’s why they are wild thoughts.

So, what happens if Nick Swisher, in a week or so, goes just as cold for the Yankees this season as he did for the White Sox in 2008? Will everyone in Yankeeland love as much then and they do now?
----

Swisher has to come down at some point, he's hitting like Albert Pujols right now and we all know he's not that kind of player. I imagine Yankee fans will start to get impatient because Yankee fans are irrational and can't accept players for who they are.

The perfect way to put it is, if Yankee fans currently boo one of the best player to ever wear the Yankee uniform, why would they not turn on anybody else? This is less about Swisher and more about our impatient, retarded fan base.
