O.K., where was all this yesterday? Five homers and a solid 4+ innings from the bullpen? Man, that would have been sweet in the first game ever at the new Yankee Stadium. Oh, well, I guess it will have to do for the second game ever for the new ballpark in the Bronx.

The last time the Yankees hit 5+ homers in a game? That was August 1, 2007. Been a long time, huh?

That Jeter is worthless he needs to be off the team. His range is down, he’s not Arod productionwise make Pena SS now!He is so average, that’s what I read in the Egghead/Sabermteric/Monkeyball Times. Clutch, oh they only realized recently that Jeter’s clutchness was a factor at all(or any type of clutchness). The GM needs to trade Ajax, Hughes, and every other arm for Hanley Ramirez coz Jeter can’t hack it anymore. El Capitan comes through again. Bollocks to all the naysayers and disbelievers. St Derek still has it going on….bigtime. Funny how when Afrod is out, Jete comes through again and again and again………

My only worry is that the 4+ innings were the exception NOT the rule so much. It’s still too early to see what can happen, but hopefully what happened today is a trend.
