    ...a frog?

Not bird, nor plane, nor even frog, it's just a little 'ole baseball blog!

Watching Swish do the lineup on Fox was money!

      Oh, my, poor Wang…

As good as he looked in the 1st, he looks terrible in the 2nd. He got squeezed on a couple of close pitches but on the overall, he’s just lost out there. His balls are just not sinking at all.

It’s time for a skipped start and a visit from either Hughes or Kennedy. We can’t let Wang continue to chew up the bullpen like this.

      13-2 in the 2nd? Good-night….

I know people have talked about the new staduim being quieter than the old, but it sounds like the crowd stil boos and sarcastically cheers as loud as they ever have. Btw, this game is a disaster wrapped in a catastrophe nestled inside a massacre. The Yankees have had too many of these games already.

Not that it would make a difference for this game, but why didn’t they start the season with a long reliever in the pen? Now they are forced to ask the ‘short guys’ to go 4-5 innings. Just makes a bad situation worse (for future games, that is).

Is it me, or does it seem like the last few years that the Yanks have been getting absolutely creamed with some regularity?

It’s sad to see Wang like this, they need to send him down to work things out because they can’t afford any more of these starts.

Five in the books. You’re losing 20-2 and Veras comes in to start the 6th – and he walks the 1st batter that he faces.

And, the Yankees are worried about someone grabbing Veras if he goes on waviers! PLEASE, let someone take HIM!

would you even be able to send Wang down? does he have options ?

Hey, i’m heading to the game tomorrow and don’t have a pre-paid pass. Anybody recommend a place to park?

Talk about black humor! Yeah, not only did Wanger stink up the joint the bullpen didn’t help either. The pen seems to not be consistent so far, they have one very good game and then very one bad game. That seems to be the MO of the pen for the first 12 games.

YankCrank: I haven’t been this year yet, but last year I found street parking near the Woodlawn subway station and took the train to the stadium from there. (I drive from the north so it’s easy for me.)
