What is it about Jose Molina once he gets pressed into full-time duty? This is two years in a row where he’s gone down, no?
Maybe now that A-Rod is back, the Yankees can build a pitch-back like device out of Alex’s collection of Kiana Tom Flex Appeal DVDs and set that up behind the plate and go without a catcher until Posada or Molina comes back to action? That would be better than Kevin Cash or Chris Stewart…no?

Kiana Tom… She still working?
Pitching needs to get back on track, the offense, believe it or not, is doing the job.

That’s the problem with these stats. They make it look like the offense is doing well because of a few games where they have exploded for runs. Otherwise, this offense has been paltry at best.

regardless, as much as they have scored, the pitching needs to do a better job; the offense is averaging 5.46 runs a game, the pitching is averaging 6.36. No way can you tell me at the beginning of the season that a team that consists of Burnett, Sabathia, Pettitte, Wang is going to do as poorly as they have.

Especially when the bullpen was among the best if not the best in the bigs last season.
