Ken, I agree. The Blue Jays have a makeshift pitching staff(they have 5 starters out) and their reliever is on the DL and they are doing well. Yeah, Doc Halladay makes any team look bad so that game was a writeoff. The thing with this year's Yankees is that the pitching staff should be the saving grace in spite of defensive, offensive or injury issues. And honestly it hasn't been yet. That will probably change soon BUT the AL East is that much better this year so let's hope that things will get better like...right now!. In addition, the Yanks have problems with pitchers they've never seen before so these two games are not automatically in the win column either......

"It's still early" sentiments aside, what a disappointment Teixeira has been. I know he's hurt, but man.

This entire team is injured. It's really amazing (in a bad way) how the injury bug is spreading like the friggin' swine flu on this team.

The more I see this team, the more depressed I get.

The AL East is too good a division to try and climb out of a hole. It is getting late early. Give a pass tonight for Halladay but now put a run of W's together or it will be a long, ugly summer.
