so according to pete abe we get a draft pick from not signing cole last year, and not signing Scott Bittle in 07…and he says that compensation picks only last 1 year, so my question is how do we get the 07 pick if its only 1 year? Any idea?

i didnt like this, very bostonian move IMO. I’d rather beat the sox on their grass rather then ours. Plus I’d feel like such a tool if I bought yankee stadium grass seeds…but thats just me
Now that I think about it, what makes these seeds “Yankee Stadium Seeds” other than the fact they are being sold by the team?

I gotta mention something that’s been bothering me for a long time – Steve, did you look up the meaning of “laconic” before you decided to describe your blog as “Laconic commentary from a Yankeeland zealot”? From Merriam-Webster:
“using or involving the use of a minimum of words : concise to the point of seeming rude or mysterious”
Do any of your posts remotely come close to concision? You need to find a different adjective. Some of your critics might suggest “Pessimistic commentary … ”
