@Jake1, I see your point, the Wanger is 0-6, so go figure. It’s not like you said that Yanks don’t do well against blond pitchers who over 6 feet tall during daylight! Your point has merit. @ Corey, the fact that another young pitcher schooled the Yankees plays into the strangeness of that metric regarding the Yanks facing first time pitchers. In the last week plus, they’ve been chumped by at least 4 young pitchers! This was a game that the Braves won as opposed to the Yankees losing.

Wang is an automatic loss evertime he starts.

Just look at how the team plays when he pitches.

Anderson hit a decent pitch as well.

Wang looked pretty good last night. Sure, 3 ER, but Garret anderson always kills the yankees. The thing that I really liked was that Wang is now featuring a curve ball. He threw it like 4-5 times last night, with mixed results, but the fact that he’s trying new strategies out is works with me. His sinker was down for the most part (a couple of them were left up), but overall this was promising.

It’s time like these that I hate how much I love the New York Yankees. Every game I tell myself, “I can’t watch another day of this shit baseball. No more,” and of course, the next day i’m in front of the TV watching another poor, unprofessional effort by our offense and another loss. I wish I could pull myself away, but I can’t. I’m sure you’re all the same way and it sucks.

Also, let’s give some credit where credit is due. Wang may not have been “great,” but last night’s effort was a large step in the right direction. He was taken out after 5 frames with only 62 pitches and 3 runs. He looked better and really made only one mistake to Garret Anderson (Mccan’s hit was a good pitch that he went down and drove).

This is going to be fun, it’s like watching a trainwreck. I wonder if Girardi’s going to go all Hal McRae when a member of the media asks him a question that rubs him the wrong way (like why use Hughes now instead of a couple of days ago when he used Tomko)

Silver lining time, because, really, what else do we have right now?
