Tyler Kepner writes about the question.

Holy “Juan Gonzalez, Dean Palmer, Jose Canseco, Ron Gant, Ken Caminiti, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Jason Giambi and Travis Hafner” Batman! Do we dare even ask the question? Well, since it’s been asked, what do you think? Will A-Rod be a star again?

  1. MJ Says:

My guess is that, yes, he will be an All-Star again. My guess is also that A-Rod might’ve been best served by missing the first half of the season because he’s clearly not healthy and it’s affecting his play in a bad, bad way. He’s a gamer and he wanted to come back and I credit him for that. No one gives him credit for coming back early.

Well, his name isn’t Derek Jeter. Instead of being a gamer, he is considered selfish for not alerting the team sooner about the true extent of his pain post-surgery.
