Agree on the rest, but we have no choice. Tex will be there no matter what, so would we rather see him start with Jeter representing the Yanks or have him back up Youk? I know my answer.

plus ya never know, how many 1bmen will the all star team carry? This league also features morneau and miguel cabrera at 1b (and you could make a case that victor martinez is a 1bman now)

I will do what I can to make sure Youk get buried behind Tex, Cabrera, V-Mart and Morneau. Youk looks like he smells and I don’t want the rest of the AL players gagging while they’re trying to win us homefield in the World Series.

Come on people, this is unacceptable. Youkilis (and to a lesser extent Pedroia) need to be blocked ASAP! Please don’t let that filthy animal Youk get the starting spot over our boy Tex.
