FYI, I recently had an exchange with someone who has access to the Yankee organization regarding this topic and they shared this with me:

Laura Posada is absolutely one of the nicest people I met in baseball and she is one of the sweetest, most genuine baseball wives I know. She’s also very bright. She was a lawyer in Puerto Rico when she and Jorge met, and both her siblings have prominent jobs. One is a well-known surgeon.

Just thought I would share this opinion, now that I know, just to be fair here.

I thought she used to be a soap opera star back in PR. In any event, Jorge is a lucky dude b/c she is way hot.

All I can do is wish her the best in her endeavors like I would with anyone. She has an opportunity to do something for herself and make a statement for other MLB wives so again, I wish her the best!!

For the record, we can’t compare L-Po to Anna Benson yet. Anna was a wacko and went public on saying she’d sleep with all of Kris’ teammates if he cheated on her. L-Po is simply cashing in on a chance to be on tv, and can we blame her?

Laura Posada is f’in gorgeous. Would we “know” about her if she wasn’t married to JoPo? Probably not, but we do know about her…and have the pleasure of getting to look at her on TV tonight
