Thanks
I’ve been writing this blog for a little over four years…
Actually, it’s been four years, two months, and nineteen days…or something like that…but, who’s counting?
In any event, the biggest thing that’s happened in all this time, for me, has been the interest that WasWatching.com has received from its readers, other bloggers, and the media. Thanks to all of you for that.
And, I would like to especially thank the following WasWatching.com “commentors” for everything that they’ve added to this blog so far:
Raf, MJ, baileywalk, Corey, Rich, butchie22, rbj, Don, YankCrank, JohnnyC, antone, JeremyM, Jen, OnceIWasAYankeeFan, jonm, brockdc, Joel, hopbitters, Garcia, Evan3457, Pete, thenewguy, TurnTwo, Jason O., clintfsu813, yagottagotomo1, Travis G., bfriley76, #15, JJay, Pat F, Lee Sinins, mehmattski, snowball003, Ken, Justin, Nick-YF, Tresh Fan, christopher, j, redbug, hallofamer2000, OldYanksFan, srivinodh, brent.nycz, festus, throwstrikes, Sicilian Lou, Jake1, Old Fezziwig, Scout, Janks-n-Jints, nwyank, sanair and G.I. Joey.
You all are way overdue for a shout-out…so…there it is!
[If WasWatching.com had its own bleacher creatures, we'd give you guys a roll call everyday. You deserve it.]
I still enjoy having this blog and sharing things with my fellow Yankees and baseball fans. It’s been a pleasure do to this for the last four-plus years – and I’m looking forward to many more years to come.

You’re welcome
.
I know we have had our differences, but I think it is great that you provide a dissenting voice to the general tone of the Yankee blogosphere. It is always good for debate to hear differing viewpoints. Keep it up.
No royalties? Awww…
Thanks for the mention.
You’re always interesting, Steve.
Always.
Thanks Steve…sorry I haven’t been around here much..got a new job and all…you know how that goes…I am still “watching” just don’t have the time to check the site more than once a day…hopefully that will change soon!
Haven’t been around these parts in a ny minute, though, I do check your post-game analysis every chance I get. Anyhow, good job with the site, the success you’ve achieved has a lot to do with your devotion to the one thing we all share, our love for the Yankees. Sometimes that can get lost in the shuffle through all the disagreements and dialogue. In the end, every one of us wants to see the Yanks end up with more Wins than every other team in baseball — counting the playoffs.
Keep up the good work my dude!
Thanks Steve! Speaking only for myself (but probably for a lot of other folks too), this site makes the day go by so much faster!
To those we’ve lost along the way — baileywalk/JohnnyC — I miss you guys.
I’ve “met” some great people here and still want to meet at Foley’s or at a ballgame sometime.
Keep it up and we’ll keep on coming back!
Thanks, Steve. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the shout out Steve!
You do a great job here, please keep it up because I very much enjoy all of the back-and-forth banter and difference of opinions.
outstanding job steve, and congratulations to you. 4 years is quite an accomplishment, and given the amount of time you put into this site almost daily it’s even more impressive. thanks for all your work that makes this site what it is, and for the shout out too.

same here. Thanks to you Steve, coming here and sharing my thoughts with you guys is one of the highlights of my day.
Congratulations, Steve! Keep up the good work. I appreciate all that you’ve done, and hope that one day someone will drop off a satchel of $$ on your front stoop so you can write about baseball full time.
Hey Steve, so you’ve been blogging about the Yanks for just over four years? Which Yankee team of the last four years has been your favorite?
Congrats on all of your success, Steve.
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for all these nice comments. It’s great to hear from some folks who haven’t been around in a while! (Hey, stop by and comment more often!)
I really do appreciate the community that’s been formed here – and treasure being part of it.
To the question of which Yankees team has been my favorite since 2005? Hmmm…tough question. It’s not the 2007 or 2008 Yanks, for sure. Outside of 2009, I would have to think about it – choosing between 2006 (who ran away with it) and 2005 (who fought back to get into it). Of course, if the 2009 Yankees could finish first and make it past the ALDS, then it would be them!
Congrats Steve! Just to echo Corey and MJ, this site makes ALL the difference in me being able to get through the work day, much appreciated. Reading everyone’s opinions as well as the debates that go on here have made me look at the game in new ways and I’d like to thank everyone for that.
Thanks a lot for the shout out, Steve. Like everyone else, I truly enjoy reading this blog and intend to do so for as long as your are writing it. Thanks, and great job!
