disgusting. entire weekend was just disgusting. all they had to do was get one game for a brilliant road trip to end the first half. instead they lost in every way imaginable. on the players, for sure (especially joba and pettitte), but girardi not helping anyone by playing two "B" lineups in the last 3 games. no idea why he decided the 3 games before a 4 day break was the time to do that, especially playing that club in that park - a team we need to beat at some point. i know it didn't cost us friday as we scored enough runs to win, but today's lineup was certainly not one you win with. really don't understand this, as again, this was not a series, considering who we were playing and the timing of the series right before the break, to do anything but try to drop the hammer. we did everything but, starting with the lineups.

Who said this?

Yanks now 51-34, at .600, having won 13 of 15, yet it would not shock me if they lost 2 of 3, or even all 3 over the weekend in Anaheim. CC goes Sunday. Hopefully that’ll be good enough to guarantee a win, though he will face Lackey, who they never seem to hit.

Is Teixiera always this streaky? It seems like it's feast or famine with him, and it also seems like he hasn't really been walking lately either. But I could be wrong.

Big letdown of a series, you have a team that's handicapped like the Angels and you get swept? No excuse for that, at all.

Much too quick.

It was a good first half, but this was a disappointing way to end it.
