      Absolutely. It doesn’t hurt to have a veteran bat on the bench with a little pop, especially when it only cost the team two players from Single-A.

      Yep, I enjoyed it. Then again, I was in such a good mood after the game that I’d have enjoyed a Yankeeography on Xavier Nady. :-)

      I have the same feeling about Dick “the Baseless Runner” Swisher”! I wonder if they will show the highlight reels of him pitching in Tampa, annoying to JOrge and others BUT amusing to me!

      Swish pichting may have annoyed Jorge, but it’s not as annoying as watching his inability to throw out baserunners.

      Agreed, Jorge is not the only one whose annoyed BTW! They probably run a tribute reel on NESN to Dick Swisher’s baserunning and outfield mishaps,too.

      Mike Francesa is gonna have Marty Appel talking about the Munson book today. He’ll probably have it archived , I hope that Mike does the book some justice………

      They probably run a tribute reel on NESN to Dick Swisher’s baserunning and outfield mishaps,too.

      NESN has plenty of their own mishaps to show on a tribute reel. Manny in LF was pure comedic gold.

      They need to fix the radar gun that YES uses. Every pitch is above 90, with every slider or offspeed coming in at 93+

      A question – I missed Saturday’s telecast. Someone told me that the YES booth was talking about mistakes that Cashman admitted to…around the batting cage during BP before the game…and one of them was not trading for Miguel Cabrera when he had the chance.

      This true? Anyone else hear it? What other mistakes were confessed?
