Would be interesting if they get Washburn this time. A sub-3.00 ERA and a bulldog mentality, but he gives up a lot of flyballs so his performance has a lot to do with big expanses in Safeco, not to mention good OF defense. Not exactly the same thing in the Bronx, but he’d surely be a better bet than Brandon Arroyo.

…And now Aceves has some sort of shoulder problem that the Yanks are hiding the full extent of because they don’t want it to get out and double the price of anyone they trade for.
