Have to say “no” based on the fact that Hairston makes a bad bench worse. What was the point? Pena was a nice guy to have around, since he was great with the glove and could steal a base. Now we get both Hairston and Ransom, who bring little to the table.

I thought we should have picked up a starter. Not one of the big names but someone who could fill out the rotation. What if Mitre is a disaster and/or a starter gets injured? There is no good answer to that right now.
