Here’s your Math teaser for the day:
If the Yanks just go 26-25 (.510) the rest of the way the Bosux would have to go 33-19 (.635) to tie them for the division lead.
Oh, what a four game sweep in August can do!
@ Tresh Fan:
I love your math, Tresh!
The Yanks still have two west coast trips to make (the scheduler really effed us two years in a row now with the late-season west coast trips…) so the Yanks are by no means the AL East champ. That being said, the playoffs do appear to be well in our control. Nice feeling.
One reason I like the Gaudin acquisition. It causes Mitre to look over his shoulder. Hopefully that will light a fire under his arse tonight. Competition is always a good thing. Just ask Melky, lol.
so like I’ve been saying, Andy = 2nd half pitcher. Although, we have to give MJ the assist as it seems when he bashes a player, they respond. so keep it up haha

Kinda like Steve!
PS – I never bashed Andy. Was it bashing him to point out how abhorrently he pitched from May 1st to the All Star break? Come on, be real man.
PPS – The only guy I’ve bashed this year is #62 (I can’t even say his name anymore).
@ clintfsu813:
I hope so. I’m going tonight and I’d really rather not see Mitre get lit up.
Although the Yanks are 4-2 in my presence this year, I seem to have the worst luck in catching a good pitching matchup…

Gotta kick it back up a notch! haha

#62 is a fat idiot and I can’t stand him. He spends more energy on his fist pumps and his Triple Whopper curls than he does on throwing strikes…
Anything to help the team!
If the residual glee from the weekend isn’t enough, a quick read here this morning will put a smile on your face:

How sweet it is.
