      She was an old-school baseball wife. Looked the other way on a lot of stuff. On the whole, baseball wives are a very interesting bunch. I still think guys like Jeter, Reggie and George Brett do/did the smart thing…don’t get married as a player…and do it once your career is over, if at all.

      Sad to hear about her passing. We don’t know everything about her marriage to The Mick but I guess I’ll just assume that the woman was a saint for what Mickey probably put her through.
