According to Baseball America, the Yanks signed their first (Slade Heathcott) and fifth (Caleb Cotham) picks today.
Heathcott got $2.2M in signing bonus money and Cotham got a deal worth $675K.

Cotham pitched in the Cape Cod league for the Brewster Whitecaps and put up a line of:
1 W – 0 L
13 IP
15 K
0.00 ERA
0.61 WHIP
.159 BAA
My understanding is that he had knee surgery right before the draft which accounts for why he only pitched 13 innings this summer in the Cape. It couldn’t have been too terribly serious a procedure if he came back this quickly and put up some decent numbers (albeit too few innings to really judge).
You can see it at the bottom of the article if you click through, but Callis is also reporting that Murphy signed, though they’re still confirming the terms of the deal.
