Kate Hudson’s relationship with baseball hunk Alex Rodriguez is heating up — she’s reportedly moved into the sportsman’s New York apartment.
The actress has been dating the Yankees ace, nicknamed A-Rod, since last November, but the pair only made the relationship public when they were spotted kissing in July.
They have since been pictured spending quality time together with their respective kids — Rodriguez’s daughters Ella and Natasha, and Hudson’s son Ryder — and the movie beauty has turned up at several Yankees games to show her support.
Now she is taking their relationship to the next level, by spending most of her time at Rodriguez’s apartment, according to reports.
A source tells In Touch magazine, “Kate’s always at his New York apartment, even on the days when he’s on the road. She’s made herself quite comfortable in his life. She’s met his oldest daughter and her son likes Alex. Kate has become very serious about him.”
Does anyone else not see this ending up any other way than bad?
Kate Hudson married Chris Robinson, the frontman for The Black Crowes, in December 2000. In the summer of 2006, she had an affair with actor Owen Wilson. And, the next year, she was divorced. Since then, she’s been with actor Dax Shepard and Lance Armstrong – before hooking up with A-Rod.
Alex Rodriguez married Cynthia Scurtis, a psychology graduate, in November 2002. In the summer of 2008, he had an affair with Madonna. And, soon after that, in September 2008, he was divorced.
It’s just a matter of time before Hudson or A-Rod has another affair – and then this lovey-dovey union will turn ugly…no? I mean, on one hand, you have a (then) married woman who’s willing to swim in the same pool as Owen Wilson. And, on the other hand, you have a (then) married man who’s willing to swap spit with Madonna. That’s a whole lotta bad judgement there…
I just hope, when this thing does tank, it doesn’t become a distraction for the Yankees. It shouldn’t…but…you never know…

I don’t know, maybe the two are so much alike that it’s a wash. Like the police supposedly say when one criminal kills another, no humans involved? In this case we could say no innocents involved here, except for the kids…

Seriously, I like Kate Hudson, and think she’s nothing but good for A-Rod. And you can see that the Yankee wives really like her as well. I get the feeling that she is a lot more well-liked than C-Rod was. Did you see that NYPost story a few weeks ago about the wives?
It’s superficial, but the fact that Kate actually looks happy to be there at the games counts for something. Cynthia always seemed pretty humorless and miserable. That infamous t-shirt she once wore just confirmed the way she acted all the time!
